Welcome to the website for St. Matthew the Apostle Episcopal Church. If you
are new to the Miami area and are searching for a church home, we hope you
will consider visiting us. If you are simply visiting and traveling through
the area, we wish you "godspeed."

St. Matthew the Apostle is an active church that welcomes all people to
share in our life of worship and fellowship. Our worship centers on the
Eucharist, which is celebrated twice on Sunday morning; in a quiet, early
service without music at 8 a.m., and at a later family service at 10:30
a.m., with a professionally trained choir. Sunday School begins at 10:30
with the children joining the adults after the sermon. Our preaching and
teaching is centered on the scriptures and the biblical message of salvation
in Jesus Christ. We have bible studies throughout the week to help you
learn more about your faith and groups that meet regularly for prayer. You
will find more information about those gatherings in this website.
