Food Pantry & Thanksgiving Baskets

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink . .
Matthew 25:35
We are currently collecting non-perishable food items to distribute to individuals and families in our community who are in need. St. Matthew’s has a Food Pantry, with non-perishable foods for persons who come by in need of food assistance.
We also partner with the Food Pantry Program of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, contributing canned and dry goods to that ministry that has served over 500 need families in the area. If you would like to help contribute, please contact our office for more information.
Hospitality

Our Hospitality team works hard to serve our church by providing refreshments to the congregation after church services so that we can all enjoy our fellowship time together. There are special occasions such as the annual Ethnic Diversity Luncheon, church picnics, pot luck suppers and seasonal parties. Sign up is easy, if you click on the link and register through "Sign-up Genius".
Memorial Garden

The Garden Ministry maintains the church Memorial Garden where congregation members go to remember and honor their loved ones. Our Garden Group maintains and beautifies our gardens. Twice a year, they gather on a Saturday to trim or move plants, and to plant new ones. This ministry is open to all who are able to participate on our Garden Days – having a “green thumb” is not a pre-requisite.

Due to required maintenance the gardens are undergoing some upgrades. We will be scheduling a "Garden Party" to help plant and reorganize soon.
Carenival Community Health Fair
